One of the hottest pistols ever to hit the market is none other than the Beretta PX4 Storm Sub-Compact.  A compact pistol proven to be extremely accurate and holding an impressive 13+1 rounds of reliable 9mm ammo, this is one pistol that has captured the interest of many, including those new to handguns and looking to purchase their first for personal defense.

With that said, there’s a few things to note regarding field stripping of this pistol for cleaning.  Despite how simple it is, I found many that include experienced gun owners take the wrong approach at proper disassembly.  In this next ConcealThis HD video, I’ll cover how to properly field-strip this excellent pistol.

Went to my local gun show today to report on ammo availability and pricing.  I was very shocked by what I found.  Not only did some calibers sell out within 1 hour of the first day, but the price tags on some were completely absurd.

Georgia Arms, which I personally don’t by ammo from, sold out of all .45 Auto and 9mm ammunition within the very first hour.  In addition, I got there at exactly 12pm on the first day of show and could not find .45 auto ammunition at all.

Below are some other findings…

• 50rd box of American Eagle 9mm – $21.00!
• 50rd box of Fiocchi .32 Auto – $22.99!

The most shocking though?  A 50rd box of .380 Auto for a whopping $45.99!!!

Guns where a bit higher in price but some popular guns and shotguns were still modestly priced.

It’s amazing as to just how scarce ammunition is and the price gouging taking place by those who manage to actually have supply to sell!

All gun owners are growing impatient and increasing irritated by the lack of ammo.  It has not been weeks, but months since most have been able to snag some ammo from their favorite source.  Those few online sources that are known for having stock at all times and usually get supplies before others will sporadically get a shipment in but will either sell it just as quick as they can get it into inventory or set some very strict rules as to the quantity one can order.

Here’s the latest article I found regarding the shortage and another example as to the real reasons I have written about in previous articles that are primarily behind the major shortage.

“Clearly, something is happening.

“Demand for ammunition, across caliber lines, is outpacing supply. In order to keep up with demand, manufacturers are working at full capacity, 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Ted Novin, the director of public affairs for the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

“The increase in demand for ammunition is largely attributable to gun owner concerns regarding the current political climate, both on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures throughout the United States. Many of the lawmakers in power have a long history of supporting legislation that violates the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans. Gun owners recognize this and are reacting accordingly,” Novin said.”

I honestly hate politics as much as I hate a liar.  That pretty much sums things up in a way that most who follow it will at least accept or understand my point of view.

However, I received an email today that hit home, targeting not only my own state governor, but once again threatening my own right to bear arms.  Charlie Crist strongly supports the 2nd Amendment and his views on gun control are in favor of those who carry and/or own one.   There has been a very bright spotlight on him the past couple of days, especially today, when he officially gave-up re-election for a second term in order to commit to run for a senate seat.

Unfortunately, many are not in favor of this decision and it now appears that many legislators with the power to take action have not only targeted the Governor, but ultimately all gun owners in the state of Florida.
