While I can’t say I love knives as much as I do guns, I’ve always had a keen interest in them since I was a kid. From butterfly knives to throwing stars, I’ve always had one with me at just about any age growing up. Heck, you can’t forget that popular, yet clever early 80′s commercial on the “Survival Knife”. Rememeber it? That was my first “real” knife when I was a kid, despite just how cheap (in all aspects of the word) it really was.  Pocket knives are not only extremely handy, but a measure of self defense as well.  However, what some consider a “quality knife” is usually and inappropriately measured by the cost.
