Ohio Set to Allow Concealed Guns in Bars, Restaurants

Ohio is on the verge of allowing people with concealed-carry permits to take their firearms into many facilities that serve alcohol, including bars, restaurants, and sports stadiums.

The Republican-controlled legislature passed the legislation this week and sent it to Gov. John Kasich’s desk. A spokesman for Kasich, a first-term Republican, has said he would sign it.

Opponents say it will lead to a dangerous mix of booze and firearms.

    Mike, I’ll like to see how this plays out. I’m a concealed weapons holder and as you have mentioned the minuscule amount of Florida CCW licenses being revoked over the years is testament and amazing. I hope we can keep it that way, I’m as pro second amendment as you get, but guns in bars(i.e. establishments in which only serve alcohol) i’m not sure. Restaurants that serve alcohol and stadiums most indeed, just look at that poor guy nealry beaten to death at a L.A. Dodgers game for example. If Obama is re-elected for a second term, the lame duck, will do everything in his power to support the anti-gun gun agenda in my opinion, just like Mr. Clinton did in his second term. History has a funny way of repeating itself. Great reviews BTW, I followed your recommendation on a firearm on this sight and could’nt be more happy.
